2009
February- March, 2009 – Visit of IT experts from Korea in the Provincial Government of Bulacan in Malolos City to observe the IT system of the Province for possible link up to the North Food Exchange and the Business Community and Technology Centers in various barangays in Bulacan. Memorandum of Agreement was signed to provide the IT component of the North Food Exchange.
March 25, 2009 – Launching of the Maiden Issue of the Pang Asenso Newspaper of the North Food Exchange.
April 1-3, 2009 – Observation and Study Tour of the Structures of the Food Exchanges in Bangkok, Thailand participated by the Technical Team of SACFEI and the Provincial Government of Bulacan.
April 29-30, 2009 – Business Planning Seminar/Workshop in Malolos City participated by pioneering group of 20 cooperatives from Bulacan as potential stall holders in the North Food Exchange.
2008
The Regional Development Council (RDC region III) has identified the BNFTC as one of the 16 Priority Strategic Infrastructure Projects in Central Luzon for immediate funding and implementation.
February, 2008 – Execution of Deed of Donation by FAPVI and VVRDC to PGB and SACFEI
July-August 2008 - Observation and study tour of the Distribution Center Operation in Seoul Korea participated in by the Cooperative Awardees, and the Department Heads of the Provincial Government of Bulacan.
September - October, 2008 – Series of Business Opportunities Forum were conducted and participated by Cooperatives, Entrepreneurs, Agricultural Business Associations in the whole of Bulacan province.
October 16, 2008 - Issuance of the Secretary’s Certificate by the Toll Regulatory Board of the Department of Transportation and Communications approving the proposal of the Provincial Government of Bulacan to construct the Balagtas Interchange along the North Luzon Expressway which is intended to provide access to the North Food Exchange Project.
December 8, 2008 – Groundbreaking Ceremony of the North Food Exchange.
2007
January, 2007 – Approval in principle of the Interchange Project by the OIC – DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan
June 27, 2007 – Execution of the Memorandum of Agreement among the PGB, SACFEI, First Alliance Property Ventures Inc. (FAPVI) and Valley View Realty Development Corporation (VVRDC) regarding donation of property for the NFE and interchange projects.
July, 2007 – Study Visit to Korea participated in by Board of Directors of SACFEI and representatives of PGB
December, 2007 – Approval of the 2008 National Budget which includes the implementation of the Interchange Project.
2006
Southeast Asian Commodities & Food Exchange, Inc. (SACFEI) was issued its Certificate of Incorporation by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
2004
Koop-Mart already existing in Malolos and the initial stages in setting up Koop-Marts in every Municipality being implemented; TESDA in the process of setting up IT Training Center in Bulacan with the grant of $1.5 million through the KOICA Fund.
2003
Observation and Study Tour of the Distribution Center Operation in Seoul Korea participated in by the Cooperative Awardees, Hall of Famer Cooperatives and several Vice Mayors from the Province of Bulacan.FS preparation for submission to DA for possible ACEF funding.

Pronouncement made by Pres. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo during the Peace and Development Summit: Tatak Bulakenyo in Malolos City for the National Government Agencies in Region III to provide full support to Gov. Josefina M. Dela Cruz for the immediate realization of the Information Technology component of the North Food Exchange.
2001
The Provincial Government of Bulacan requested the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) to include BNFTC in their Development Study. The said organization is soliciting proposals for Project Aid and Development Study Programs for FY 2002.
KOICA sponsored 15 Filipinos for training in Seoul Korea on the Distribution Center Operations using their Agri-Marketing System. The Distribution Center in Korea is the model for the North Food Exchange.
International Conference of Agri-Marketing Cooperatives federations in EDSA Shangri-La Plaza was hosted by the National Koop Mart Federation (NKMF). NKMF members will serve as marketing outlets of the products of North Food Exchange in their respective locations, in Metro Manila and North Luzon
2000
Business/Study tour in the Republic of Korea to see and learn about the food exchange systems in Korea; as a result of a series of discussions was to come up with a Memorandum of Understanding Between PGB and Principal Management Group, Inc. (PCGMI) Korea for the possibility of developing the project on a turn-key basis.
Gov. Josefina M. dela Cruz sent a letter to the President of the Republic of Korea seeking endorsement and support from the Korean Government.
